We visited Jordan in February 2017 for a Memory Project delivery. We worked with UNICEF to deliver portraits made by US art students to Syrian children in two refugee camps, and to Jordanian children in three SOS Children Villages (orphanages). The children in the refugee camps had experienced traumatic life changes and very much appreciated the special and personal gift of portraits, made by students on the other side of the globe! In March 2018 we did anther Memory Project trip to Jordan, delivering portraits to more than 1000 Syrian children in Za’atari and Azraq refugee camps. Here is a capsule video of the 2018 delivery:
